The owner, George Schrider and his trusted team of specialists have developed a thriving business due to a long and loyal client base, who call HIM whenever they have a residential home improvement project.
About George
George was born and raised in Bethesda and is happy to be residing and working around his hometown. George is a sixth generation Washingtonian who graduated from Walt Whitman HS.
George began his love of building while playing in kindergarten with the blocks and Playschool work bench and tools set. He soon after began on the family home doing repairs, building decks and porches and assorted other renovations. Before long he was working steadily for his neighbors, extended family and family friends.
George, in fact, comes from a long line of builders like his grandfather, Charles, who was Vice President of a well known Washington construction company and his father, Howard, who owned and operated a window and garage door supplier and installation business. George worked for several local residential remodeling companies over the past 3 decades ascending the rungs of the construction ladder, pun intended, as lead carpenter, project manager and estimator.
He has passed the NARI certified lead carpenter exam and taught a basic carpentry course for 2 years. The next logical move was to take his well honed skills and knowledge resources and run a company of his own. Now he… is HIM.
